Yesterday night we (the people of SEA) experienced another earthquake. This time it was a 8.7 on the richter scale earthquake (look it up on the USGS website). The tremors were felt here in Malaysia. Residents living in high-rise buildings (Penang, KL) evacuated themselves promptly even without a warning. Most of them ran helter-skelter in their sarongs and baju kelawar and some of them even continued their disturbed slumber on the pavement. Countries around the Indian Ocean are warning their citizens of a possible tsunami and to seek higher ground for those who are living near the coastal areas. No one wants a repeat of the previous tragedy. My colleague who lives in Subang felt the tremors for a couple of minutes. Some people living in Puchong also felt the tremors. But I did not. Maybe because I wasn't living in a high-rise. Perhaps the house was shaking but my attention was really focused on...the tv...so I didn't realize it happening.
I'm sure by now the news has spread evenly across the nation. And I'm sure a lot of people are now aware of the situation...but to those of you who are still unaware you can always do this.

Encik...K7 here....congrats on being godparents to ur cat...hehe... I was watching porn when I felt the tremors...God was probably angry at me...quickly I switched it off...
i was at the hospital with my mummy when the bed i was lying down shook violently. i thought my mom was shaking her bed while she thought i was jumping on the bed. unfortunately, SYMC was not prepared for it coz even when the patients ran out to ask why the room shook, they said nothing. to say they want to avoid from seeding fear among occupants seem absurd coz other hospitals efficiently evacuated their patients. but, everyone is safe and that's the good part.
