With bated breaths...

A long awaited longing finally materialized a few months back. The longing for being able to cruise on the highway on a bike. It may be second hand, but right now it's my right hand. Being able to feel the air/wind/breeze flowing through your hair (I only do this in the housing area where I live) is an experience you can only achieve fully while being on a bike. But on the highway you of course have to adhere to the rules. Once in a while you do feel the need for speed though. Cruising on the highway...

A close friend tells me differently. At least that's his point of view (let's talk about that over a teh 'O ais limau). He says that my view of 'cruising' at 160km/hour is not at all cruising. Its more of speeding than cruising. Actually its more of a death wish! Well friend...this time what I am about to say is being documented. I won't be able to say that you have no proof anymore, unless, well if I delete this post. I cruised at 180km recently. And... It was scary as it was exhillarating. It was dangerous as it was fun. It was like those people who document themselves using a camcorder and sent it to Maximum Exposure! Only that for the time being, while I'm off the bike, I'm safe and sound...

speed kills.

--> it kills the patience of loved ones.

--> it kills the adoration of loved ones.

speed builds too.

--> it builds the anger of loved ones.

--> it builds uncertain anguish among loved ones.

erm, you can't quite tell ur junior not to be a speed demon since you are one yourself, right? (no matter the justification of speeding)
