Temet nosce...know thyself, ancora imparo...I'm still learning...
What's so special about those words? The former is in Latin, the latter is in Italian. Maybe because its in a different language I tend to treat them differently...the meaning that the words brings, know thyself, kenali/fahami diri sendiri...doesn't sound so special in malay doesn't it...but the meaning is still important, whatever language is used to carry them.
And so goes for ancora imparo...i'm still learning...saya masih belajar...everyone who still believes that no matter how old, how matured you may think you are, you shall always be a student, always learning, relearning things...and because of that you feel humbled...that there's always something new to learn, the quest is never ending...tiada erti kata khatam dalam pengejaran ilmu...ada PhD tak bermakna kita sudah khatam belajar...sudah khatam mengaji Al-Quran tak bermakna kita sudah tak perlu membacanya lagi...
And by acknowledging this, ackowledging the need to continuously learn...you know much more things, you acquire more skills, you realise your potentials, your limits and finally you know... yourself...better...
